Vehicle Boost is an ability which raises the speed of your vehicle when applied. It is served as a temporary speed boost to vehicles until the vehicle is despawned. There are currently 10%, 15%, 25% and 30% vehicle boosts available for vehicles.

Obtaining

Multiple methods in which you can apply a Vehicle Boost to your vehicle are as follows:

Faction

  • Certain Factions offer temporary Vehicle Boosts (Vehicle Boost Vendor) Vehicle Booster.png as a Faction Perk, which can be purchased by the Faction President and Faction Officers, offering 15% or 25% Boost at the cost of $150.00k & $250.00k respectively when applied to vehicles (per use).
  • Alternatively, Garage Speed Boost Faction Perk automatically applies a free 10% boost to your vehicle when the vehicle is spawned within the Faction Garage.

On the Map

  • 15% Vehicle Booster variants can also be found in 2 different locations around the map. Keep in mind, they both also cost $150.00k when applied to vehicles (per use).

Racing Perk

  • The last and currently highest boost available is 30%, which is applied via obtaining and enabling the Racing Perk. This type of boost can be enabled/disabled from the perks list on your character's Phone. When enabled, it auto-applies to all owned vehicles that are spawned from a garage.

Information

  • While other Vehicle boosters can be used to boost both you and other player's vehicles, the 30% boost type is only applied upon spawning your owned vehicle and can not be applied to other players if they don't own the racing perk.
  • Vehicle boosts can also be applied to Planes, allowing a slight boost while taxiing. however, this makes it harder to navigate and steer in the process while offering no actual boost in the air.
  • Starting a race in a boosted vehicle will automatically remove the percentage of the boost at the beginning of the race.

Trivia

  • Staff Vehicles can have a 50% speed boost.
    • Admins and above can add a custom boost amount.
  • During events (in the event server), all player vehicles can be boosted (simultaneously) far beyond 50% by staff members.
