When a player fully dies (Coma timer runs out, or the player chooses to Skip Coma), they will respawn at the City Hall. Dying isn't heavily punished in Transport Tycoon. The player only loses the money they sacrifice to Skip coma, which is a maximum of $25,000. If the player let's the coma timer run out then their respawn is completely free. In essence, this means you lose nothing but time.

Players who have bought a House or own a Business with a respawn perk will be able to choose to (re)spawn at the aforementioned accommodations after pressing F5 when prompted.
